No. Gun owners use the app as customers — no license required. FFL verification applies only to the shops that list their services. You just need to be a legal gun owner in your state.
Yes. GunsmithApp™ is a directory and booking platform — no firearms are sold or transferred. Every listed Gunsmith holds a valid ATF-issued FFL. Using a licensed gunsmith is legal in all 50 states.
Yes — search the job, not the word gunsmith. Coatings incl. Cerakote, Engraving and NFA Compliance Marking, Bluing and Refinishing, Grip Stippling, Slide Milling and Optics work each have their own category, and the Coating Shops and Engravers doing that work are listed and searchable by distance from you.

No. Nothing is bought, sold or transferred through GunsmithApp™. It finds you a licensed shop and lets you send that shop a booking request — the work, the paperwork and the payment stay between you and the shop.

Look for the license-verified badge on the listing. A shop earns it by entering its FFL license number when it claims the listing; the license is checked before the badge shows, and claims are reviewed the same day. The badge is never for sale.
Search NFA Compliance Marking in the app. Engravers who do NFA marking are their own category, ranked by how close they are to you, and every listed shop holds a valid ATF-issued FFL. The marking, the paperwork and the payment stay between you and the shop; nothing is bought, sold or transferred through GunsmithApp™.
You can send the job request at any hour. The shop picks it up when they open and takes it from there; nobody is expected to answer at midnight, and your request waits for them.

Claim your shop with your FFL license number — it takes a few minutes and verification is reviewed the same day. No card required: being listed is free, and paid plans are optional.
Email Operations@gunsmithapp.com from the address on your account. Put CANCEL and your shop name in the subject. That is the whole process.
What we commit to:

• Cancel before your first charge and you are never billed a cent.
• Cancel later and the month you have paid for runs to its end — we do not
cut your listing short and we do not bill the next month.
• If we bill you after you asked to cancel, we refund it in full. No argument.

The claim flow is built on the FFL license number, so it is the route for licensed shops. If you do this work without a license of your own, write to us and tell us what you do — we would rather hear from you than lose you.
Yes. Training and instructor listings sit alongside the shops. They are community-reviewed and are not subject to FFL verification, and a paid plan lets you post classes with seat limits, named rosters and waitlists.
